Gipsy was a lovely rich brown girl, very much in charge, like 
her son after her (Dougal) she appointed herself my protector, she wasn't 
above nipping the ankles of anyone suspicious who got too close to me. 
Gipsy was reasonably successful in the show ring but as her sister Jenna 
(Ch. Breaksea Enchantress at Balidorn) was doing so well it seemed pointless 
to show them both so eventually Gipsy had a litter. This is where Gipsy 
really shone, she loved being a Mum, passionately taking care of her 
puppies. Gipsy was the boss, she left whichever dog at the time was 
currently Top Dog to their delusions of grandeur, but knew that really she 
was in charge. Gipsy has left us a legacy of wonderful children, in fact 
several generations. Top Brood Bitch in 1995 was really well deserved and a 
thrill for us.
