Like most Beardie males, Dougal was a happy soul, very laid
back, who though of himself as my guardian and protector, he would always
put himself between me and any stranger he was unsure about when we were out walking.
If I had to go anywhere late at night then Dougal came too. In his younger
days Dougal had a successful show career, as a stud dog he was fantastic, no
messing about but got the job done with no fuss in super quick time.
Thankfully there are many offspring from Dougal to carry on his happy sunny
disposition.
