Leo was probably the most famous of our Beardies, simply a
beautiful Beardie who loved the show ring. Leo's first Cc was won in the
middle of a snow storm after Garry and Meryl (his owners) trekked from the
car at the NEC through snow drifts to get it. We missed it being stuck in
Coventry for the whole day and night, those who did get to the show had to
sleep on the benches. It wasn't long before Leo gained more though gaining
13 in all and many Reserves. Leo's last Reserve was at Crufts at the age of
11. Sadly shortly afterward Leo was killed in a freak accident.
